Job summary

Accentuate Staffing is partnering with an engineering and manufacturing organization to recruit an Electrical Design Engineer. You will design electrical systems, develop schematics for industrial control panels, and work with multiple teams to refine designs for manufacturability.

The role emphasizes electrical drafting, control and power circuit knowledge, and managing several projects in a fast-paced environment with emphasis on accurate as-built documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of related electrical design, controls, power-distribution, or industrial control-panel experience.
• Strong electrical CAD skills; AutoCAD Electrical highly desirable.
• Familiarity with UL 508A industrial control panel requirements and related standards.

Responsibilities

• Create and revise electrical schematics and design documentation for control panels and power-distribution products using electrical CAD software.
• Collaborate with engineering to develop and improve control and power circuits for new and existing products and applications.
• Work with production to refine designs for manufacturability, accuracy, efficiency, and cost-conscious execution.
• Incorporate customer changes into electrical designs and ensure drawings reflect approved requirements.
• Provide technical support to production, quality, and field-service teams for electrical or controls issues.
• Document shop-floor and field modifications, maintain drawings, and produce final as-built electrical drawings.
