Job summary

GE Appliances, a Haier company, is seeking a Maintenance - Electrical & Controls technician for our USA facility in Camden, SC. You will install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment to meet safety and productivity goals.

The role requires electrical/mechanical aptitude, knowledge of safety standards, and flexibility to work on-call and varying shifts. Prior maintenance experience in manufacturing is preferred; driving and tool familiarity are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; valid driver’s license.
• Journeyman with 2+ years in electrical or mechanical trades or associate degree with hands‑on experience.
• 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience acceptable alternative.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in manufacturing equipment.
• Perform emergency and scheduled maintenance on production machinery.
• Diagnose faults, replace parts, and test equipment.
• Maintain electronic records of maintenance and repairs.
