Greystone of Lincoln is seeking an Industrial Electrical & Controls Technician to install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical and control systems in our manufacturing environment. The role emphasizes working with 480V systems, motor controls, MCCs, and related equipment to maximize uptime and safety.
You will diagnose PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, servos, motors, sensors, and instrumentation, reading schematics and blueprints to install and verify modifications.
We are looking for an experienced Industrial Electrical & Controls Technician to help keep our manufacturing operation running safely, reliably, and efficiently.
This is a hands‑on position for a skilled Journeyman Electrician who enjoys troubleshooting electrical, controls, instrumentation, and automation problems and improving equipment reliability.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain industrial electrical, instrumentation, automation, and control systems.
Safely work with **480V systems**, motor controls, MCCs, control panels, and related equipment.
Troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, servos, motors, sensors, instrumentation, valves, temperature controllers, pressure transmitters, flow meters, and other control components.
Diagnose problems on stationary and rotating equipment and install, modify, test, and verify electrical/control systems using schematics, drawings, manuals, and blueprints.
Maintain and optimize equipment including hammer mills, bucket elevators, conveyors, and other industrial machinery.
Identify recurring problems and recommend improvements to safety, reliability, efficiency, and production uptime.
Document electrical and controls modifications and maintain accurate records.
Recommend tools, spare parts, and troubleshooting methods and work with vendors or other departments as needed.
Follow OSHA, EPA, local regulatory, and company safety requirements.
High school diploma or equivalent.
**Valid Journeyman Electrician certification or higher — required.**
Minimum 3 years of industrial electrical maintenance and troubleshooting experience.
Experience safely working with **480V electrical systems**.
Strong electrical troubleshooting skills and ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical documentation.
Experience with PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, servos, instrumentation, MCCs, motors, valves, sensors, and industrial controls is highly desirable.
A technical school or college degree is not required. Hands‑on experience, certification, troubleshooting ability, and overall qualifications matter most.
Work overtime as needed.
Participate in a scheduled on‑call rotation.
Respond to emergency maintenance calls when needed.
Work occasional weekends, holidays, or other non‑standard hours when required.
On‑call and emergency response requirements are shared through a scheduled maintenance rotation.
$30–$40+ per hour based on experience and qualifications.
