Job summary

Sofidel America in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an Electronic & Instrumentation Technician to join a stable team. This role focuses on improving operational efficiency, product quality, and reducing costs through professional electrical and instrumentation maintenance, system programming, and troubleshooting.

The candidate will perform preventative maintenance, support robotic systems, manage electrical schematics, and collaborate across teams to implement improvements while ensuring a safe work

Qualifications

• Education/Experience requirements are stated: Associate’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Technology, Electro-Mechanical Engineering or Automation/Engineering preferred; minimum High School or equivalent.
• Two plus years of experience in related areas; internship/co-op in industrial manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports GMP and HACCP to promote safe workplace.
• Reads instructions and work orders; communicates across shifts.
• Input work orders and inventory data in designated systems.
• Provide preventative electrical maintenance and troubleshoot instrumentation and electrical systems.
• Maintain robotic systems and perform PLC/DCS programming, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Collect PLC data to monitor equipment efficiency and assist planning.
• Install cables, conduit, and instrumentation for new equipment.
• Identify process inefficiencies and collaborate to resolve root causes.
