Job summary

Knobelsdorff Enterprises seeks a dedicated Electrician Helper to support the Electric division with installation, service, and maintenance of industrial, residential, and commercial electrical systems under supervision. The role emphasizes hands-on electrical work, safety, and ongoing skill development to contribute to project quality and success.

Qualifications

2nd year (2,000–4,000 hours) registered Unlicensed Electrician experience.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Basic knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and materials.
Ability to positively identify wire colors.
Competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Self‑starter mindset with strong teamwork skills.
Valid driver’s license with a history of safe driving.
Willingness to travel extensively (up to 100%).
Ability to pass a pre‑employment drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

Perform electrical installation, service, and maintenance work under supervision.
Maintain 2nd year (2,000–4,000 hours) registered Unlicensed Electrician status.
Attend continuing education to support annual registration renewal.
Track and report electrical work experience and ongoing education.
Learn and apply current electrical codes and best practices.
Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and construction documents.
Gain experience bending conduit using hydraulic bending machines.
Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Work in restricted areas and at heights.
Follow KE safety policies and procedures.
Work in all weather conditions depending on job location and season.
Travel to regional job sites, including overnight and out‑of‑town projects.
Work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
