Knobelsdorff (KE) is seeking a hands-on Electrical Apprentice to support the Electric division with installation, service, and maintenance of industrial, residential, and commercial systems under the supervision of a project lead. You’ll directly impact project quality, jobsite safety, and overall success while gaining valuable hands‑on experience.

Qualifications

• 2nd year (2,000–4,000 hours) registered Unlicensed Electrician experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and materials
• Ability to positively identify wire colors
• Competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Self‑starter mindset with strong teamwork skills
• Valid driver’s license with a history of safe driving
• Willingness to travel extensively (up to 100%)
• Ability to pass a pre‑employment drug screen and criminal background check

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical installation, service, and maintenance work under supervision
• Maintain 2nd year (2,000–4,000 hours) registered Unlicensed Electrician status
• Attend continuing education to support annual registration renewal
• Track and report electrical work experience and ongoing education
• Learn and apply current electrical codes and best practices
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and construction documents
• Gain experience bending conduit using hydraulic bending machines
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Work in restricted areas and at heights
• Follow KE safety policies and procedures
• Work in all weather conditions depending on job location and season
• Travel to regional job sites, including overnight and out‑of‑town projects
• Work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
• Perform additional duties as assigned
