The role requires physical stamina, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and willingness to work outside on long shifts. Education is flexible; vocational training or on-the-job experience is valued, with electrician certification

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's degree a plus, but not required.
• Experience: Training in vocational schools, or related on-the-job experience. Electrician certification is preferred.
• Skills: Must be able to work efficiently without supervision and pay close attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Set up and install electrical components such as wiring, lighting, circuit breakers, and outlets in industrial buildings.
• Interpret and follow electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to plan and install electrical systems correctly.
• Identify electrical issues, faults, and malfunctions in systems, wiring, and equipment.
• Fix or replace faulty wiring, switches, outlets, and electrical devices, ensuring systems function safely.
• Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, appliances, and fixtures.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems using test equipment and hand tools to locate and correct problems.
• Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
• Inspect systems to ensure compliance with codes and safety.
