Responsibilities

• Set up and install electrical components such as wiring, lighting, circuit breakers, and outlets in industrial buildings.
• Interpret and follow electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to plan and install electrical systems correctly.
• Identify electrical issues, faults, and malfunctions in systems, wiring, and equipment.
• Fix or replace faulty wiring, switches, outlets, and electrical devices, ensuring systems function safely.
• Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
• Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
• Inspect electrical systems to ensure compliance with codes and safety.
