Job summary

Dogwood Industries, LLC is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Manager to ensure the company complies with health and safety laws. The EHS Manager works closely with the Director of Operations, Operations Manager, HR Team; and interacts daily with Project Team Leaders and employees on the floor.

A successful EHS Manager will identify opportunities for improving conditions and execute various safety programs needed, while managing the Safety Team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a safety representative in manufacturing or construction.
• Experience managing a team.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• OSHA 30 certification or higher.
• First Aid/CPR certification.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with leadership to maintain a strong safety culture.
• Develop reports and safety policies based on data.
• Analyze incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Oversee audits and safety inspections.
• Lead safety meetings and training programs.
