Job summary

Pretium Packaging seeks an on-site HSE professional in Aurora, IL to champion safe work practices and environmental responsibility. Embedded with operations, you will lead risk assessments, investigations, and training while advancing continuous improvement across plastics processing facilities.

You will maintain OSHA records, drive corrective actions, and support environmental compliance with a focus on safety culture and workforce empowerment in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Background in EHS or related field with 2+ years manufacturing EHS experience.
• Experience in plastics/manufacturing environments preferred.
• OSHA 30 and related certifications preferred; First Aid/CPR/AED a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments with practical solutions.
• Lead/assist incident investigations and root cause analysis; document corrective actions.
• Maintain OSHA logs and safety/compliance records.
• Monitor waste handling and environmental reporting; support inspections.
• Assist with implementing controls and track safety metrics; contribute to CI projects.
• Deliver targeted training and lead safety committees to strengthen culture.
