Job summary

INVISTA is seeking an Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Multi-Craft Technician at our Seaford, DE site. This role applies your electrical and instrumentation expertise to troubleshoot complex equipment issues, support continuous operations, and improve plant performance.

You will join a maintenance team on the day shift, collaborating with operations and engineering to implement safe, reliable fixes and preventive maintenance across industrial systems up to 480 volts.

Qualifications

Journeyman Electrician License from the State of Delaware.
Experience performing electrical maintenance in industrial environments.
Experience maintaining and troubleshooting electrical and instrumentation systems up to 480 volts.
Ability to read electrical schematics/blueprints.
Experience diagnosing electronic systems with scanning tools, multimeters, and computers.
Authorized to work in the United States without Visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain electrical and instrumentation systems supporting plant operations.
Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to improve reliability.
Calibrate, test, inspect, and verify instrumentation and process control equipment.
Conduct annual calibrations, safety checks, and inspections.
Diagnose and resolve electrical equipment failures using schematics and diagnostic tools.
Maintain and troubleshoot motors, drives, control systems, and related components.
Partner with operations/engineering to identify root causes and implement solutions.
Follow safety requirements when working on equipment up to 480 volts.
Provide occasional mechanical support to the maintenance team.
