Applied Industrial Technologies is seeking an Electrical/Mechanical Drive Product and System Specialist to plan, implement, and execute drive product and system solutions in Southern Indiana, Southwest Ohio, and Central Kentucky. The role involves collaborating with field sales, providing engineering support, and developing supplier relationships.

The position requires a bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or related industry experience), 3–5 years in industrial drive

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or industry experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years of experience with industrial drive systems or related products.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Make joint sales calls with field sales staff to support drive products.
• Provide technical support to internal and external customers.
• Analyze opportunities with management and assess market landscape.
• Develop relationships with key suppliers of drive products.
• Evaluate internal capabilities within the geographic scope.
• Conduct training for internal staff and customers.
• Assist in developing industry data collection and documentation.
• Help set sales targets and execute the industry marketing strategy.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
