Job summary

K2 has a Dispatcher position at our corporate office in Valparaiso, IN to coordinate personnel, equipment and supplies for multiple internal and external requests. Typical duties include scheduling, communication, and on-call readiness.

A high school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license are required, with proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook; familiarity with industrial cleaning materials and dispatch/warehouse operations preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Familiar with materials, equipment and supplies used in industrial cleaning.
• Familiar with dispatch and warehouse operations, procedures, equipment and terminology.
• Strong phone and email etiquette.
• Ability to work during seasonal outages, holidays, weekends and off shift hours.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate personnel, equipment and supplies to service multiple internal and external requests.
• Schedule daily workload for personnel and equipment.
• Communicate with customers via phone, email and in person.
• Track DOT documents such as mileage logs and vehicle inspections.
• Maintain dispatch sheets and daily job reports.
• Observe safety policies and wear PPE as required.
• Be available for on-call work as needed.
