Job summary

Accenture seeks a hands-on Physical AI Automation Engineer to develop and integrate digital twins, 3D environments and simulations linking virtual models to real-world operations. You will work across CAD/BIM/PLM inputs, 3D pipelines, and diverse ecosystems to deliver production-ready twin solutions.

The role emphasizes software-like development, integration with IoT/ERP systems and computing environments, with travel up to 75% to client sites and facilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in digital twins, 3D engineering, simulation, industrial software, game engines, or systems integration.
• Hands-on experience in at least one core area: 3D model development and integration; discrete-event or process simulation; physics-based simulation; virtual commissioning.
• Experience with tools or ecosystems such as NVIDIA Omniverse, OpenUSD, Unity, Unreal Engine, Siemens, Dassault Systèmes, PTC, Ansys, FlexSim, AnyLogic, Visual Components or similar platforms.
• Programming or scripting in Python, C++, C# or similar language.
• Ability to translate engineering or operational requirements into models, simulations, integrations and testable outcomes.
• Understanding of software engineering, testing, documentation and structured delivery practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate digital twins for products, equipment, production lines, factories, and other physical operations.
• Create 3D environments and asset pipelines using CAD/BIM/PLM inputs and reality capture data.
• Build solutions using Omniverse, OpenUSD, Nucleus, Kit-based apps or comparable 3D ecosystems.
• Develop or simulate discrete-event, process-flow, physics-based and virtual commissioning scenarios.
• Connect digital twins with IoT platforms, historians, PLC/SCADA, MES, WMS, ERP and PLM systems.
• Develop Python or C++ extensions, connectors, APIs, data pipelines and automation services.
• Support calibration, scenario design, experiments, validation and interpretation with stakeholders.
• Create virtual environments for design reviews, training, validation and operational decision support.
• Implement testing, version control, CI/CD, deployment and documentation for production-quality twins.
• Collaborate with architects, manufacturing SMEs, simulation specialists, data/AI and ecosystem partners.
• Contribute reusable templates, connectors, simulation components and delivery standards.
