Job summary

Core Home, based in New York City, is seeking an Industrial Designer focused on product development to help translate trends into tangible goods. You will work closely with our design and development teams to move concepts from sketch to CAD to manufactured parts.

The ideal candidate has 1–4 years in industrial design, is proficient in SolidWorks and KeyShot, and can communicate with overseas manufacturers.

Qualifications

• 1–4 years of professional experience in Industrial Design.
• Experience communicating with overseas manufacturers.
• Highly proficient in 3D and 2D design software (SolidWorks and KeyShot required).
• Proficiency in Illustrator and Photoshop; Blender/Rhino a plus.
• Portfolio showing ideation through manufactured product.

Responsibilities

• Rapid ideation sketching and concept development.
• Proof of concept and visual prototyping.
• DFM and CMF direction.
• Communicating with manufacturing partners to bring the product to life.
• Produce realistic renderings for presentation and in-store merchandising renders.
