Job summary

The Industrial Designer at W.C. Bradley Co. develops, presents and recommends product design solutions in styling, function and color.

Works under the Senior Director of Industrial Design and as part of the Product development team, contributing to both core and satellite roles. Responsibilities include creating visual concepts, 3-D models, drawings, and color approvals while collaborating with marketing and design teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design or of study
• Minimum Work Experience: 1-3 years’ experience in related field
• License(s) / Certification(s): None

Responsibilities

• Develop concepts with visual presentation for verbal ideas.
• Develop product drawings to establish functional, cost effective, aesthetically pleasing design.
• Develop and build 3-D models for evaluation and testing for internal and external reviews.
• Provide detailed control drawings of part design.
• Inspect and approve aesthetics and color on first piece process.
• Provide industrial design input for all design aspects and coordinate with marketing & creative teams.
• Maintain records of project work and report status weekly.
• Perform other tasks related to department and company goals.
