Job summary
LiveTrends Design Group in Apopka, FL is seeking a Middleweight Industrial Designer with 4–6 years of professional experience to contribute to product design, development, and packaging. You will create innovative, consumer-focused home décor products and help shape the brand voice across LiveTrends collections.
The role requires strong sketching, 3D modeling (Rhino, KeyShot, Adobe Creative Suite), attention to detail, and the ability to work with tight deadlines in a on-site environment.
Qualifications
- Degree in Industrial Design, Craft Design, or relevant equivalent with 4–6 years professional experience.
- Strong design sensibility with contemporary design culture.
- Understanding of manufacturing, materials, and processes.
- Passion for Home Décor, Floral, and/or Fashion industries preferred.
- Keen interest in trends, design, art, and mass market retail.
- Portfolio of innovative consumer product design launched in market.
- Ability to listen, take direction, and learn on the job.
- Ability to communicate through sketches.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Willing to work under tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Rhino 3D, KeyShot.
- Advantage: AI creative tools knowledge.
- Perfectionist attention to detail.

- Generate multiple and varied concepts on a theme.
- Learn and then execute on the creative process.
- Immerse yourself in the company to deliver a clear “brand voice” to all products.

- Know how to interpret and process Trend Reports into excellent forward-thinking product design.
- Packaging design, POS design, display design, and creative problem solving beyond just the Product Design Studio.

LiveTrends is currently searching for a highly energetic, motivated, and creative individual to fill the role of Industrial Designer. The main task is to contribute to all 3D creative areas: from product design, development and packaging to general creative problem solving. A divergent, innovative mind set is key. A divergent and innovative mindset is essential for the perfect candidate being someone who challenges the status quo, sees possibilities others may overlook, and turns unconventional ideas into meaningful design solutions.
We are looking for a talented individual who is a skilled model maker, passionate about contemporary arts and crafts, and who can conceive beautifully curated home decor products that incorporate live plants.

- Keen interest in trends, design, art, and mass market retail.
- A portfolio of innovative, desirable, consumer product design solutions that have launched in market.
- Ability to listen, effectively take direction, and learn on the job.
- Ability to communicate clearly through sketches.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Willing to take the initiative and to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
- Competent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Rhino 3D (or equivalent), Keyshot (or equivalent).
- Being knowledgeable about new AI creative tools is an advantage.
