Job summary

SIG SAUER, Inc. in New Hampshire invites a motivated student intern to join the Industrial Design team for January–April 2027. You will assist in solving design problems and clearly communicate ideas under supervision.

This internship emphasizes hands-on prototyping, ergonomic studies, and collaboration with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and product managers to advance concepts toward commercialization. A strong portfolio and SolidWorks skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Industrial Design or related field.
• Developing proficiency in 2D design software and SolidWorks.
• Portfolio demonstrating evolving design communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist ID Team in compiling research data.
• Gather reference materials to support the Industrial Design team.
• Conduct ergonomic studies as guided by the team.
• Fit and test rapid prototyped parts.
• Incorporate product management specifications into concepts.
• Maintain Industrial Design standards for color, texture, and innovation management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers to ensure on-time commercialization.
• Travel as needed.
• Follow all required Safety and ISO procedures.
