PAR Electric Contractors, LLC seeks a data scientist to own the design and execution of predictive, optimization, and ML models for large-scale utility contracting. You will build data products, work with operations and finance teams, and travel up to 10% as needed to deliver insights and impact.

Responsibilities include developing cloud ETL pipelines, validating models on real data, and communicating results to executives.

Formación

• Master's degree with 4–6 years of experience or Bachelor's with 6+ years.
• Databricks Certified ML Professional, CAP, or AWS ML Specialty preferred.
• Strong Python and SQL skills with production-grade models.
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving.
• Ability to work independently yet collaborate with teams.
• Experience in construction/industrial operations preferred.
• Familiarity with project costing systems (EcoSys, JDE) or Databricks.
• Experience as a first data science hire building an analytics function is preferred.
• Background in geophysics or geospatial analysis preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and optimize data pipelines and ETL for utility analytics.
• Partner with PMs and operations teams to identify efficiency gaps and deliver data-driven solutions.
• Work end-to-end from a question to a finished analysis or model.
• Build and validate models on real operational and financial data.
• Validate models against real project outcomes over time.
• Communicate results clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Design and implement ML, optimization, and forecasting models.
• Establish best practices for code quality, model validation, and deployment.
• Interface with executive stakeholders to present findings and align data science with operations.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to document data pipelines and workflows.
• Design dashboards and reports highlighting trends, risks, and insights.
• Break down complex problems into data-driven components.
• Prioritize data requests across sites and project phases.
• Follow statistical protocols to ensure reliability and compliance.
• Work across field operations, procurement, and design engineering.
• Ensure high-quality, clean datasets.
• All other duties assigned by management.
