Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking an DX Engineer to enhance data and tool handling on the fab floor, building ingestion pipelines and secure automation. You will work with equipment and process engineers to convert pain points into automated solutions that improve yield and reduce manual effort.

Responsibilities include maintaining dashboards, applying VOC feedback, and prototyping AI/ML options while ensuring robust security and scalable architectures across millions of data points per

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Science or Engineering.
• Strong problem-solving & analytical thinking.
• Experience designing data pipelines and software systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain health of digital tools (dashboards, apps, scripts).
• Gather VOC feedback for new features and enhancements.
• Implement automated alerting and logging.
• Perform regular patching, dependency upgrades, and security hardening.
• Write clean, modular, and documented code for data ingestion, transformation, and analytics.
• Build reusable libraries and create scheduled scripts.
• Prototype PoCs with rapid iterations (Design -> Build -> Test -> Refine).
• Conduct feasibility studies for AI/ML integration, low-code platforms, or RPA where appropriate.
• Maintain a central knowledge base.
