Job summary

AAF International in Louisville, KY, seeks a seasoned Customer Service Specialist to deliver world-class support across Sales, Accounts Receivable and Operations. You will be a cross-functional liaison, using product knowledge and strong communication to exceed customer expectations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; associates or bachelor's degree preferred.
• 5 years’ experience in customer service or related area, preferably in manufacturing/industrial.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Industry knowledge/experience is desired.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales, other departments to provide information about products and services, quotes, orders, invoices and status.
• Receives, investigates, and responds to customer inquiries while prioritizing urgent matters.
• Maintain knowledge on lead times, product information, pricing, shipping schedules and other information.
• Keep records of customer interactions and actions in SAP and PC software.
• New customer setup in SAP including working with credit and collections to process credit applications.
• Maintain knowledge on company products and processes.
• Customer Master File Maintenance including updating contact information, sold-to, ship-to, pricing, and customer text requirements.
• Assist Credit with invoice disputes and billing error resolutions.
• Provide freight estimates and coordinate with Operations for delivery estimates.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
