American Products is hiring a Custodian to support our Facilities Maintenance team in a manufacturing environment. The role maintains clean, safe, and organized production and common areas, with a weekend shift and forklift-required duties.

The position offers a pay range of $17-$19 per hour plus a 20% shift differential. Training on day shift is provided as needed, and no travel is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Janitorial experience in manufacturing/industrial setting preferred
• Ability to obtain forklift certification within 30 days
• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining clean facilities
• Professional communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Deep clean restrooms and breakrooms using approved chemicals and equipment
• Clean plant floors using ride-on and walk-behind scrubbers and sweepers
• Empty trash throughout the facility
• Transport waste and cardboard to compactors using a forklift
• Restock supplies, fill dispensers, and disinfect surfaces
• Clean windows, walls, and high-traffic areas
• Report facility or safety issues to Maintenance
• Assist with larger cleaning projects as needed
