Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain overhead cranes, jib and gantry cranes, and elevators in industrial settings. You will perform mechanical and electrical work, PMs, and inspections, using CMMS to log activities and parts.

The role requires a degree or journeyman credentials and at least 3 years in heavy manufacturing, with a strong safety mindset and ability to read schematics and perform LOTO.

Qualifications

• Ability to diagnose and repair industrial crane/elevator equipment.
• Read schematics and use precision measurement tools.
• Willingness to work weekends or after-hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and extensive repairs on crane/elevator systems.
• Maintain and modify crane assemblies, motors, guards, drives, bearings, and controls.
• Order materials and manage spare parts inventory.
• Operate utilities powered industrial trucks and Aerial Lifts as required.
• Log PMs and work orders in CMMS.
