Job summary

Engineered Systems in Greenville, SC, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our onsite GE Vernova team. You will maintain and repair crane and hoist systems, diagnose issues, and help ensure reliable operation and safety across our equipment.

The role requires strong electrical and mechanical knowledge, the ability to read schematics, good teamwork, and a proactive approach to preventing downtime. We value safety, training, and a collaborative, excellence-driven culture.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar industrial role.
• Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems including motors, VFDs, PLCs and high/low voltage systems.
• Ability to read manuals, blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Excellent troubleshooting and teamwork abilities.
• Knowledge of safety guidelines and practices; physical stamina and ability to lift.
• Certifications or licenses may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular maintenance on crane and hoist systems to ensure optimal functionality.
• Diagnose issues, troubleshoot problems, and perform repairs promptly.
• Inspect, identify problems, and provide solutions to prevent failures.
• Assist in maintenance and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Create and maintain maintenance and inspection logs and documentation.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure effective communication and coordination.
• Stay updated with industry advancements and participate in training programs.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
