Job summary

New Era Technology is seeking a hands-on Field Service Technician to install, troubleshoot, and maintain industrial cooling equipment at customer sites. You will read electrical schematics and replace faulty components, traveling as needed.

The role requires at least 2 years of hands-on electrical and mechanical experience, the ability to work independently in the field, and a customer-service mindset. Full-time with occasional overtime and travel up to 20%.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience repairing or maintaining electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and electrical wiring diagrams.
• Experience troubleshooting industrial equipment, HVAC, pumps, compressors or similar machinery.

Responsibilities

• Install, start up, and service cooling equipment at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues and replace faulty components.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections.
• Read electrical wiring diagrams and basic technical drawings.
• Document service reports after each visit and ensure proper operation.
• Provide professional customer service while onsite and travel as needed.
