Job summary

SV Labs Corporation is seeking a Mechanical Controls Technician in Prescott, WI to install, maintain, and troubleshoot production equipment and automation systems. The role reports to the Maintenance Manager and involves ensuring equipment reliability and safe operation on the plant floor.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with PLCs, HMIs, VFDs/servo drives, electrical schematics, and industrial networks, and will actively participate in preventive maintenance and operator

Qualifications

• Experience with PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens) and HMIs in a manufacturing setting.
• Knowledge of industrial networks (Ethernet/IP, DeviceNet, Profibus) and VFD/servo drive maintenance.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, P&IDs and equipment manuals.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot production equipment and automation systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on machinery and material handling equipment.
• Train plant personnel in safe operation and adjustments of equipment.
• Assist in major equipment moves and leasehold improvements.
