Job summary

HP Hood LLC in the United States is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician responsible for preventive maintenance, repair, and installation of equipment, along with troubleshooting electrical and electronics systems and upgrades to existing controls and instrumentation.

The ideal candidate has experience with industrial controls, PLCs (Allen Bradley, Siemens), VFDs, and reading schematics; strong problem-solving, safety compliance, and teamwork are essential in a fast-paced manufacturing

Qualifications

• GED or High School Diploma with 3+ years experience in manufacturing.
• Experience in industrial controls and instrumentation.
• Intermediate computer skills (Word, Excel).
• Experience with PLCs, analog controls, sensors and VFDs.
• Experience working with outside vendors and contractors.
• Ability to multi-task and strong interpersonal/communication skills.
• Electrical and electronic experience; Arch Flash Training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical and electronic systems and upgrade controls.
• Read schematics and use testing equipment for timely repairs.
• Ensure safety and adherence to GMP and sanitation policies.
• Support production needs during operational urgency.
• Coordinate with supervision and vendors as needed.
