BRT Extrusions is seeking a knowledgeable Industrial Controls Technician to support, troubleshoot, and maintain our industrial control systems and automated equipment. This role collaborates with Controls Engineering, Maintenance, and Production to reduce downtime and improve equipment reliability.

You will develop toward independent troubleshooting, perform basic PLC and HMI modifications under engineering direction, and participate in system commissioning.

Qualifications

• Two-year degree in industrial, electrical or controls related schooling; 3 years of experience in industrial automation equipment
• 5+ years of experience in industrial automation equipment without degree will be considered.

Responsabilités

• Troubleshoot and maintain industrial controls systems and automated equipment.
• Support commissioning and system modifications under engineering direction.
• Document troubleshooting steps and corrective actions clearly.
• Perform root-cause analysis on recurring failures and escalate as needed.
