Mariana Minerals is seeking a Controls Technician to provide electrical and controls support at our East Texas refinery. You will troubleshoot and repair wiring and programming across production equipment, handling 480V three-phase and single-phase circuits, transformers, switchgear, and motor control centers.

You will run tests, isolate problems, and keep control systems healthy through preventive maintenance and upgrades.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience focused on controls and electronics.
• Proficiency with Allen Bradley controls equipment (SLC 500, ControlLogix, PanelView Plus, VFDs), HMIs, and industrial networks.
• Able to own controls projects from start to finish.
• Hands-on experience with 480V three-phase and single-phase AC circuits, transformers, switchgear, and motor control centers.
• Read one-line diagrams, blueprints, schematics, and manufacturer specifications; calculate circuit load requirements.
• Well-rounded maintenance background including hydraulics and pneumatics.

Responsabilités

• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical and controls issues across equipment and processes.
• Install, test, and maintain electrical equipment including MCCs, switchgear, transformers, generators, circuits, and load centers.
• Maintain, program, and upgrade control systems (Allen Bradley PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, networks).
• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical and control systems; participate in PM programs.
• Log work and asset history accurately in CMMS and manage scheduling.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, mechanics, and maintenance to improve planning and PM processes.
• Follow OSHA and electrical codes; keep shop safe and product quality high.
