Job summary

City Electric Supply is seeking a Control, Sensors, and Safety Specialist to support business development teams in selecting and delivering application-specific control solutions. You will serve as the technical expert for controls, sensors, and safety products, including training internal staff and customers.

The role requires a BS in Electrical Engineering or related field and experience with installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting in industrial settings, with a strong focus on safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and relevant industry experience.
• Experience supporting the selection, installation, troubleshooting, or commissioning of controls, sensors, and safety related systems within industrial or manufacturing environments.
• Working knowledge of OSHA requirements and safety standards related to controls, sensors, and industrial automation applications.

Responsibilities

• Applies safe-work practices for the selection and installation of controls, sensors, and safety solutions.
• Identifies and selects application specific solutions and provides technical recommendations.
• Provides technical training to staff and customers as needed.
• Develops and maintains positive relationships with customers and coworkers.
• Supports revenue and growth goals.
