Job summary
Tundra Technical Solutions in Clarksville, TN is seeking an experienced Controls Engineer to design, program, commission, and maintain industrial automation and OT connectivity solutions on-site. You will work with Rockwell Automation control platforms and Kepware middleware to ensure seamless data exchange between shop-floor devices, SCADA, MES, and enterprise systems.
The role emphasizes on-site commissioning, loop tuning, and interaction with IT/OT teams to support secure, reliable automation
Qualifications
- Experience designing, developing, testing and deploying PLC logic for Rockwell platforms.
- Ability to configure Kepware middleware and enable OT/IT data flows.
- Experience with industrial networking and cybersecurity basics.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy PLC logic for ControlLogix/CompactLogix/GuardLogix.
- Configure operator interfaces with FactoryTalk View ME/SE and integrate motion control.
- On-site system commissioning, start-up, tuning, and testing.
- Configure and maintain Kepware KEPServer/EX for real-time OT data access.
- Implement OPC DA/UA, MQTT, REST in Kepware for SCADA/MES integrations.
- Manage device drivers, tag addressing and network security certificates.
