Westinghouse Electric - USA is seeking an onsite Instrumentation and Controls technician in Ogden, UT. You will install, troubleshoot, calibrate, and repair electronic instrumentation across process controls, heat-treatment furnaces, and related systems.

Ideal candidates have hands-on PLC wiring skills, strong maintenance ability, and a background in industrial environments. A sign-on bonus is offered for well-qualified applicants.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in instrumentation and controls, with 3+ years in a similar industrial setting.
• High School Diploma or GED required; trade/technical schooling may offset part of experience.
• Hands-on PLC wiring skills and strong maintenance and repair abilities.

Responsabilités

• Install, diagnose, and repair electronic instrumentation: thermoelectric elements, pressure and flow devices, gas chromatographs, and pH instruments.
• Calibrate temperature and pressure elements to NIST requirements; generate calibration documentation.
• Maintain preventive maintenance schedules and test records; manage calibration manuals.
• Rebuild/install valves, valve positioners, and other flow control components.
• Coordinate your area’s work with the central maintenance shop; work with Engineering and Quality on material qualifications and audits.
