Qualifications

• Experience with Allen Bradley MicroLogix, CompactLogix, and ControlLogix PLCs.
• Knowledge of HVAC-R systems is a plus.
• Ability to conduct basic electrical and mechanical repairs.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on production equipment.
• Lead troubleshooting and replacement of faulty PLCs.
• Assist with installation and scheduling of maintenance projects.

Job Summary

The Industrial Maintenance and Controls Maintenance Technician provides preventive and corrective maintenance for all production and facility equipment within the Center to ensure or improve production efficiency. This is a multidiscipline technician position.

Starting pay $28 hr DOE

Duties And Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on pneumatic, hydraulic, motion control and mechanical systems
• HVAC-R experience desired but not required
• Troubleshooting using Allen Bradley MicroLogix, CompactLogix, and ControlLogix PLC interface for diagnostics
• Lead team in troubleshooting and replacement of faulty PLCs
• Assist with installation of new equipment
• Conduct basic electrical and mechanical repairs as assigned
• Assist with facility improvement and basic repairs including floors, walls, and ceilings
• Assist management with scheduling maintenance projects
• Support outside contractors with repairs/maintenance as needed
• Maintain accurate and complete departmental records
