Job summary

Automatic Systems Company is seeking qualified field service professionals to commission and troubleshoot PLCs, instrumentation, and motor control devices in customer sites across Minnesota. You will provide on-site service, support, and detailed reporting while coordinating with our technical team to meet customer needs.

Qualified candidates have a 2-year electrical technology degree or equivalent, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• A 2-year electrical technology degree or equivalent experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with clients and co-workers.
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks, have excellent attention to detail, and learn new technologies quickly.

Responsibilities

• Commission and troubleshoot PLCs, instrumentation, and motor drives.
• Provide service and customer support during field visits or dispatches.
• Tie workflow to schedule and manage on-site installation, repair, maintenance and test tasks.
• Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions.
• Produce timely and detailed service reports and document processes.
• Operate vehicle safely and follow company procedures.
