Automatic Systems Company is seeking a Industrial Controls Field Service Technician to join our on-site team in Saint Paul, MN. The role focuses on commissioning, troubleshooting PLCs, instrumentation, and motor control devices, with responsibilities spanning field service, installation, repair, and customer support.

You will manage on-site tasks, generate service reports, and maintain safety while collaborating with a technical team.

Qualifications

• 2-year electrical technology degree or equivalent experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with co-workers, management & clients.
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks and learn new technologies quickly.

Responsibilities

Automatic Systems Company is an Industry Leading provider of water, wastewater, and industrial controls systems with a proven history of innovation and excellence. We are actively seeking qualified candidates to join our field services team.

Position Responsibilities:

• Control system commissioning and troubleshooting of PLC's, instrumentation, and motor control devices such as variable frequency drives and reduced voltage starters.
• Provide service and customer support during field visits or dispatches
• Tie workflow to schedule
• Manage all on site installation, repair, maintenance and test tasks
• Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions
• Produce timely and detailed service reports
• Operate vehicle in a safely manner and use field automation systems
• Follow all company's filed procedures and protocols
• Cooperate with technical team and share information across the organization
• Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations/briefings
• Build positive relationships with customers

Compensation: $70,000 - $115,000 based on experience
