Job summary

OtterBase is seeking a Process Controls Engineer to design, program, troubleshoot and commission industrial control systems. The ideal candidate will have experience with boilers, steam systems, cooling towers, and water treatment, plus strong PLC and DCS knowledge.

The role involves startup and commissioning activities, process optimization, and root cause analysis to improve reliability and efficiency in industrial utilities. 6-month contract-to-hire, on-site in Michigan.

Qualifications

• Instrumentation experience for process control systems.
• Startup, commissioning, troubleshooting and process optimization duties.
• Root cause analysis in industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, program, troubleshoot and commission industrial control systems.
• Support boilers, steam systems, cooling towers, water treatment, or other industrial utility systems.
• Provide ongoing maintenance and optimization of control systems.
