We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Permanent Industrial Controls Electrical Designer to join our dynamic team. This hybrid role is an excellent opportunity to work with a premier engineering company that values innovation, creativity, and quality. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing industrial control systems, ensuring compliance with UL698A standards. This position offers a unique blend of hands-on work and strategic planning, providing the perfect platform for the right individual to showcase their expertise and contribute to the success of our company.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop industrial control systems in line with our company's specifications and client requirements.
• Ensure all designs comply with UL698A standards and other relevant industry regulations.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to develop innovative solutions for complex control systems.
• Conduct thorough testing and troubleshooting to identify and rectify any issues within the control systems.
• Prepare detailed electrical schematics, panel layouts, and bills of materials.
• Provide technical support and guidance to the production team during system assembly and wiring.
• Conduct regular reviews and updates of control system designs to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all designs, modifications, and tests.
• Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in industrial control systems design.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years' experience in designing industrial control systems.
• In-depth knowledge of UL698A and other relevant industry standards.
• Proficiency in using design software such as AutoCAD or EPLAN.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong project management abilities, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Familiarity with PLC programming and HMI development would be advantageous.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
