Lignetics Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Systems / Industrial Control Technician in the United States. The role involves diagnosing and repairing field instrumentation, electrical and control components, and working with PLCs to troubleshoot equipment.

A strong emphasis on safety and the ability to read blueprints and schematics is required. The position is full-time with benefits including bonus opportunities and a comprehensive package.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a technical program majoring in PLC/industrial controls or equivalent experience.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Journeyman experience or completion of an apprenticeship preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, tools and industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair/replace field instrumentation, electrical and control components.
• Diagnose issues with machines using PLCs.
• Basic improvements using site programming software for PLCs and OISs.
• Recommend replacement frequencies for electrical and control components for the CMMS.
• Observe safety procedures and electrical codes.
• Read and interpret specifications and blueprints.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical components.
