Job summary

Confidential is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead field operations on industrial and commercial projects. You will manage day-to-day activities, uphold safety standards, and ensure projects are completed on schedule with quality workmanship.

Responsibilities include coordinating multiple subcontractors, tracking progress, and communicating with owners, general contractors, vendors, inspectors, and project management to achieve project goals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of superintendent or field supervision experience.
• Experience coordinating multiple subcontractors and trades.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and site safety programs.
• Experience maintaining schedules and implementing recovery plans.
• Experience directing crews and coordinating with owners, GC, vendors.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day field operations to meet safety, schedule, and quality goals.
• Coordinate with owners, general contractors, vendors, inspectors, and project management.
• Mentor foremen and resolve conflicts to maintain productivity.

Job description

Looking for an experienced Construction Superintendent with a strong background in industrial or commercial construction, field leadership, subcontractor coordination, and safety management. This individual should be capable of independently managing day-to-day field operations while ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within quality standards, and in accordance with company and client expectations.

The ideal candidate has:

• 5+ years of construction superintendent or field supervision experience
• Experience managing multiple subcontractors and coordinating mechanical, electrical, and civil trades
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, construction safety programs, and jobsite hazard mitigation
• Experience maintaining project schedules, identifying delays, and implementing recovery plans
• Experience overseeing equipment installations, material deliveries, and workforce coordination
• Experience conducting quality inspections, managing punch lists, and ensuring work meets project specifications
• Proven ability to lead crews in fast-paced industrial or commercial construction environments
• Experience coordinating with owners, general contractors, vendors, inspectors, and project management
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor foremen, resolve conflicts, and maintain accountability across multiple crews

Technical Skills:

• Reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and project schedules
• OSHA safety standards, fall protection, confined space, lockout/tagout, and crane/lift safety
• Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Construction scheduling software (Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or similar preferred)
• Daily field reporting, documentation, and progress tracking
• Material management, equipment coordination, and delivery verification
