Job summary

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in Industrial Construction and 1 year in a Safety role.
• OSHA 30 certification required; OSHA 500/501 strongly preferred.
• Forklift Trainer certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the health and safety of workers, site, environment and public.
• Inspect jobsites, identify hazards, assess risks, and report hazards.
• Investigate incidents to identify causes and prevent recurrence.
• Provide guidance and coaching to field employees.
• Collaborate with management to align safety strategies with policies and programs.
• Assist in response and correction of significant safety events.
• Proactively recommend changes to protect workers and educate employees.
• Collect and validate safety records and complete safety audits.
• Administer drug testing and basic First Aid.
• Lead safety meetings.
