Job summary

TAKNEK LLC is seeking a Senior Project Manager for industrial construction to lead complex projects across North Texas. You will oversee multiple projects, mentor PMs and APMs, and ensure safety, quality, and financial performance from preconstruction through turnover.

The ideal candidate has a strong GC background, CPM scheduling knowledge, and the ability to manage client relationships and project teams across civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical disciplines.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive construction project management experience on industrial, heavy civil, infrastructure, or similar complex projects.
• Experience leading, mentoring, or supervising Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers.
• Strong understanding of contracts, plans, specs, subcontracts, purchase orders, RFIs, submittals, change orders and claims.
• Ability to read civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and process construction documents.
• Willingness to travel to project sites throughout North Texas and other project locations as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead industrial and infrastructure construction projects from preconstruction through turnover and commissioning.
• Maintain responsibility for safety, quality, schedule, cost, contract compliance, and client satisfaction.
• Establish execution plans, budgets, schedules, procurement strategies, and staffing.
• Review contract documents, drawings, scopes, estimates, and requirements.
• Identify risks early and develop mitigation and recovery plans.
• Forecast costs to complete, committed costs, margins, cash flow and schedule impacts.
• Lead meetings with owners, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, claims, procurement, and documentation.
• Ensure long-lead materials/equipment are tracked to the schedule.
• Coordinate with field leadership to translate plans into safe field execution.
• Drive projects from startup to turnover and closeout.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management / Civil or Mechanical Engineering

8+ years of progressive construction PM experience

Team leadership of PMs/APMs

Contract administration & change management

CPM scheduling & sequencing
