Job summary

Bilfinger seeks a Construction Manager to lead self-perform projects at large chemical or manufacturing plants. You will plan, schedule, and manage multiple projects, ensure safety, cost, schedule and quality targets, and prepare work packages for direct hire execution.

The role requires 5+ years in industrial construction, experience with piping, tanks, foundations; regional travel in the Midwest; strong communication; mentoring; and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in the industrial construction industry.
• Experience executing projects with piping, sanitary tubing, tanks, conveyors, and foundations.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to present information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and manages all facets necessary to complete projects within budget, on time, and deliver quality work.
• Develops detailed project scope of work, schedules, and budget; reviews design packages for constructability.
• Estimates labor and material costs; manages subcontractors and procurement activities.
• Establishes and maintains project start, progress, and completion schedules; tracks changes and submittals.
• Promotes safety; ensures compliance with HSEQ guidelines and site procedures.
• Supports business development by identifying prospects and contributing to proposals.
