Job summary

US Fusion – A Trusted Supplier for All Your Specialty Construction Needs in Baton Rouge, LA seeks an energetic Project Manager to lead awarded projects from initiation through closeout, liaising with clients, field teams, subcontractors, and internal departments.

The role focuses on project execution, cost control, scheduling, risk management, and profitability, with a strong emphasis on safety, professionalism, and continuous improvement across all phases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CM/Engineering/Business or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of Project Management experience in industrial construction.
• Preferred experience with geosynthetics installation, HDPE fusion, environmental/civil/industrial maintenance projects.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and contract administration.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; scheduling/estimating software a plus (MS Project, Primavera P6, AutoCAD).
• Valid Driver’s License; TWIC Card and OSHA training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned projects from contract award through final closeout.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between US FUSION and the Client.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and execution plans.
• Coordinate procurement of materials, subcontractors, equipment, and labor resources.
• Support project handoff and pre-construction planning with Operations and Field Supervision.
• Maintain complete project documentation, correspondence, and records.
• Monitor project productivity, schedule performance, quality, and cost.
• Prepare and distribute internal and external project reports.
• Manage change orders, claims, time impacts, and contract administration.
• Ensure projects are executed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with contract requirements.
• Facilitate project closeout activities including punch lists, turnover documentation, and final billing.
