Job summary

The role requires reading plans, procuring specifications, developing budgets, and coordinating sub-contractor quotes, with emphasis on risk assessment, cost optimization, and timely bid submissions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred.
• 3 years of related construction experience.
• Strong reading, writing, and reporting skills.
• Proficient in Word and Excel; able to learn other apps.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage estimating, bids, and contract administration for open cut projects.
• Input and update opportunities into the project management system.
• Develop project surveys to assess risk and feasibility.
• Procure plans, specifications, and sub-contractor quotes.
• Develop job estimates and budgets; track final bids.
• Lead bid review and ensure timely bid delivery to customers.
• Review cost performance with project managers.
