Job summary

HITT Contracting Inc. is seeking a Construction Assistant to support the Industrial project team in Hurt, VA. The role involves organizing project docs, preparing packages, and coordinating with subs, vendors, and clients under the Project Manager.

This is for a large-scale, long-duration industrial campus with per diem support. You will work with ProCore, Primavera P6, Adobe, and BlueBeam, and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree from an accredited university is preferred.
• Self-motivated and proactive – takes initiative and seeks responsibility.
• Experience with Word, Excel, and other Microsoft-based software.
• Willingness to work out of town with per diem provided.

Responsibilities

• Reports directly to the Project Manager.
• Communicates daily with Project Management staff, subs, vendors, and clients.
• Ensures timely delivery of documentation with consistent quality.
• Maintains clear, concise, professional communication tailored to the audience.
