Job summary

Aerotek is seeking painters to lead and perform interior and some exterior painting on industrial and commercial projects within the Milwaukee area. You will use brushes, rollers, and spray equipment to apply diverse coatings and maintain high quality standards on active sites.

The role emphasizes safety, surface preparation, and collaboration with a crew to meet deadlines. Opportunities for overtime are available in a dynamic field setting.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of overall painting experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of commercial painting experience.
• Proficiency with interior and exterior painting in industrial/commercial environments.
• Ability to perform and learn airless spraying techniques using HPLV sprayers.
• Brush and roller application skills for a variety of coatings.
• Ability to cut in clean lines without tape.
• Experience with job-site prep and masking where appropriate.
• Experience with job-site cleanup and maintaining a tidy work area.
• Ability to work as part of a team on active construction sites.
• Willingness to work early shifts and OT/Saturdays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in painting projects for industrial and commercial clients.
• Perform interior wall painting with some exterior work as required.
• Use brushes, rollers, and spray guns to apply coatings.
• Operate and maintain HPLV airless sprayers on large projects.
• Cut in clean lines without tape.
• Prepare surfaces with cleaning, sanding, masking, patching and priming.
• Keep work areas clean and safe.
• Coordinate with team to ensure timely project completion.
• Help meet quality standards and project specifications.
• Follow safety procedures on all sites.
• Adapt to varying schedules including occasional overtime and Saturdays.
