Carboline is seeking a Technician - Industrial Coatings in St. Louis, MO. Join our R&D team to develop corrosion-resistant coatings, linings, and fireproofing products while collaborating with experienced lab professionals to support daily operations and ensure quality and performance standards.

You will learn coating techniques and perform quality control, maintain records, and follow MSDS guidelines. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and hands-on lab work in a dynamic manufacturing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of at least one year of college-level chemistry coursework or 1–3 years of relevant laboratory experience preferred.
• Must pass a Jaeger Eye Test.

Responsabilités

• Operate laboratory instruments and follow established testing procedures.
• Maintain accurate, organized laboratory notes and documentation; assist with report writing as needed.
• Conduct quality control testing, grade test panels, and collect data for product evaluation and troubleshooting.
• Utilize laboratory computer systems for reporting, formula calculations, graphics, and inventory tracking.
• Support the preparation and evaluation of lab-scale batches according to prescribed formulas.
• Learn and apply coating techniques using spray, roller, and brush methods.
• Reference and follow MSDS for raw materials and finished goods.
• Adhere to all safety, environmental, and quality procedures, including PPE usage and hazardous material handling.
• Collaborate with team members and cross-functional partners.
