Job summary

Loenbro Southwest is seeking a Project Manager for our Industrial Coatings Division. You will oversee all facets of coating projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery while maintaining quality standards. This role involves managing budgets, timelines, milestones, and serving as the primary client contact.

The company emphasizes safety, teamwork, and accountability as you coordinate with pre-construction, field teams, and external stakeholders to drive project success.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of industrial coatings and standards.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English; Spanish a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; able to create/manage Gantt charts.
• Valid driver license.
• At least two years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the Pre-Construction Department.
• Define project objectives; perform due diligence to define goals.
• Communicate goals; oversee Project superintendent and site team.
• Identify stakeholders; gain support from GC, Owner, Engineer, inspections.
• Develop project schedule and document objectives, resources, and timelines.
• Develop milestones and manage the project to them.
• Present cost and schedule updates to executives monthly.
• Participate in interviewing hourly staff; manage change orders.
• Use RI project management system to track schedule and hours.
• Assess risks and develop contingency/recovery plans.
• Coordinate with Procurement/Site Materials for on-site materials.
• Coordinate with Safety and QA/QC for compliance and inspections.
• Create an environment that motivates the team; communicate expectations.
• Prepare and deliver progress documents; follow up on invoices.
• Support budgeting, bidding, and subcontract awards.
• Assist in permits/ revisions; oversee submittal process.
• Conduct pre-construction meetings with subs; review project completion.
