Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in industrial coatings.
• NACE CIP Level 3 Certification preferred.
• Knowledge of coating materials, application techniques, and surface prep.
• Familiarity with industry standards and environmental safety regulations.
• Experience in construction, manufacturing, or mechanical fields.
• Experience as an industrial painter or similar role.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to solve complex problems.

Responsibilities

• Apply coatings and linings to industrial surfaces per project specs.
• Perform surface preparation such as sandblasting.
• Inspect and evaluate surface conditions before/after coating.
• Ensure environmental and safety compliance during operations.
• Provide technical guidance to the coatings team.
• Use hand/power tools to prep steel.
• Prepare detailed reports on coating processes and inspections.
• Read work orders and track materials and time spent.
• Collaborate with team and clients on project requirements.
• Conduct training for junior staff on techniques and safety.
• Maintain and calibrate equipment.
