Panelmatic, Inc. in Youngstown, OH, is seeking a skilled Grinder/Polisher to join our manufacturing team.

You will prepare metal surfaces by grinding, sanding, and polishing to ensure high-quality finishes on our control panels and metal components, supporting precision and adherence to our standards. The role requires a High School diploma, at least one year of coating/paint experience, ability to lift 75 lbs, and the ability to work in enclosed spaces and heat.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• At least one year experience applying industrial coatings or paint.
• Able to perform basic math and calculations.
• Able to work autonomously without direct supervision.
• Excellent communication, written and verbal.
• US work authorization without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Prepare metal surfaces by grinding, sanding and polishing.
• Set up and operate painting equipment to coat surfaces.
• Mix paints and chemicals; manage viscosity and consistency.
• Read prints and verify paint colors for coatings.
• Operate spray guns and adjust airflow and nozzle positions.
• Strip, sand, and repaint as needed; blend finishes.
• Work in enclosed spaces and extreme heat as required.
• Follow safety and quality protocols; pass required checks.
